NuvodaTM was founded in 2009 as Renewable Fibers, Inc. with the vision of transforming wastewater treatment through the application of new technologies focused on biological processes. Up until 2013, the company was focused exclusively on using a ballasted media, a plant-based biological substrate, as an additive in the treatment process. In 2013, Nuvoda partnered with CH2M Hill, to develop an improved version of our ballasted media-based treatment process. With the help of their top engineers, the Nuvoda team completed the development of the proprietary Mobile Organic BiofilmTM System (MOBTM). The project also produced two patents. The company is now focused on growing its installations, continuing to innovate, and extending its comprehensive solutions to customers.
